Man Fatally Stabbed In Newark: Prosecutors A 55-year-old Newark man was fatally stabbed on Thursday morning, June 29, authorities said. At 10:24 a.m., police responded to a report of an unresponsive man inside an apartment on the 300 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue,  Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  Police found Oscar Escobar suffering from an apparent stab wound, Stephens and Fragé said. Robbers Enter Newark Pharmacy, Demand 'Oxy' At Gunpoint: Police Newark police are looking for two men (pictured) in connection with an armed robbery in the North Ward Tuesday.  They entered a pharmacy at 654 Mt. Prospect Ave. around 3:40 p.m. and pulled masks down over their faces. One of the men drew a gun and demanded "Oxy 30," a painkiller.  The two left with narcotics and cash, headed south on Mt.
