Plainfield Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Star Football Player: Prosecutors Maurice Pierce, 23-year-old Plainfield man was arrested on Monday, Sept. 25 and charged with murder in the shooting death of Jameer Outsey, a former college football player, back in August, authorities said. On Sunday, Aug. 12, Elizabeth police responded to North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue and found Outsey, a Bridgewater resident, suffering from a gunshot wound, Union County Prosecutor William A. Millburn High School Athlete Robbie Almgren III Dies, 17 Millburn High School senior athlete and lifelong Short Hills resident Robert "Robbie" Almgren III died on Dec. 27. The 17-year-old succumbed to the sudden effect of AML Leukemia, which began Christmas night, his obituary says. Robbie grew up playing lacrosse, football and basketball. A senior at Millburn High School, Robbie played for the Millers and the NJ Riot Club team, and was also a trumpet player. Robbie planned on playing lacrosse for the Union College Dutchmen next year. Born and raised in Raritan Township, Karpinski was known for her love of sports, particularly lacrosse. She played as goalie for the Hunterdon Central Red Devils as well as for the Triple Threat Elite Club Team, her obituary says. Karpinski had a goal of playing D1 lacrosse while pursuing an exercise science degree. She wanted to become a professional athletic trainer, her memorial says.
