Stolen Gun Found In Stolen Car Driven By Paterson Boy, 15, Police Say Paterson police detectives stopped a stolen car driven by a 15-year-old city boy and found his passenger carrying a gun reported stolen out of New York State, authorities said. It was one of two stolen firearms recovered by the same team of investigators that day. Roundup: 19 Weapons Seized, 12 Arrested In Newark More than a dozen firearms were recovered in a series of gun arrests in Newark since last week, authorities said. The firearms were recovered in the city’s dozen gun arrests between Dec. 6 and Dec. 12, Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release. Pair Sought In Connection With Newark Handgun Recovery Authorities in Newark are seeking help identifying a pair of men wanted in connection with the recovery of a firearm. Police recovered a handgun on the 200 block of Emmet Street Sept. 12, and are seeking the men captured on surveillance for questioning. One suspect is described as around 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, wearing a black and New Era baseball cap with a white logo. He also had on black, blue and purple sneakers and had a soft cast or ace bandage on his right wrist. Authorities: Suspect In Custody, 2 Victims In Newark Shooting At Large Two victims of a Newark shooting remained at large while one suspect was taken into custody Tuesday evening, authorities said.  Authorities responded to a report of a shooting on North 9th Street near 6th Avenue West around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release. An investigation found Jalil Peppers, 22, of Newark, shot at two other men — one of whom returned gunfire, Ambrose said.
