Six-Year-Old Newark Boy With Autism Missing: Police (Look Inside) Alimou Diallo, a 6-year-old Newark boy diagnosed with autism, has been missing since Monday morning, Sept. 18, police said. Diallo was last seen at 2 a.m. in his residence on the 600 block of Elizabeth Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. Alimou was wearing a blue t-shirt and a white diaper. His mother noticed him missing at 5 a.m., Fragé said. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Diallo is asked to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-695-8477.

At 2:45 p.m., Newark police received a report of human remains found on the 400 block of Elizabeth Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The unidentified body was officially pronounced dead soon after, Stephens and Fragé said. Police Kill Gunman Who Left 3 Dead Including Child In Newark (Developing) A gunman who killed a man and 7-year-old child was purportedly shot dead by police in Newark Wednesday evening, May 3, according to authorities and abc7. The Essex County Prosecutors Office said they were investigating the shooting, which occurred near Elizabeth Avenue and Meeker Avenue sometime around 8:45 p.m. The New Jersey Office of Attorney General is investigating the incident as a possible officer involved shooting, according to the Essex County Prosecutors Office.  This is a developing story.
