An unresponsive 2-year-old child died at Holy Name Medical Center after being brought there from a home in Bergenfield early Sunday evening, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella confirmed. The little girl drowned in a bathtub, a source with direct knowledge of the incident told Daily Voice. A five-year-old died after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in Newark on Monday, Aug. 28, authorities said. At 7:26 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of Washington Street, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. An 8-year-old boy has died after his body was found in a Morris County creek Wednesday, July 12, authorities confirmed. The child was found face down in the creek, in the Flanders section of Roxbury, around 3:35 p.m., Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. Dave Alex Grande passed away on Monday, April 24 at the age of 9, according to his obituary. Grande was an Elizabeth resident and attended Joseph Battin School No. 4. The Elizabeth Board of Education held a moment of silence for him at its meeting on Thursday, May 11. "Alex was a kind kid and funny, and he love giving warm hugs to me.
