Newark Police Revive Man Who Swallowed 20 Envelopes Of Heroin An Irvington man who swallowed approximately 20 envelopes of heroin was revived by Newark police -- and subsequently hospitalized and charged, authorities said. Anthony Moore, 30, swallowed an estimated 20 glassine envelopes of heroin after police spotted him in a drug deal near Mountain View Avenue and  shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release. Moore was asked to spit out the envelopes but refused and continued to resist arrest, police said.
