Newark Opens Cooling Centers As Temps Begin To Soar With temperatures expected to hit triple-digits by the weekend, officials in Newark have opened cooling stations for all residents as well as for senior citizens specifically.  The heat wave beginning Tuesday is expected to last through the weekend.
