A 34-year-old East Orange man was found shot to death in the yard of a Newark home early Saturday morning, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.
Police responded to a report of shots fired just after midnight in the 200 block of North Ninth Street. They found Vernon A. Robinson unresponsive and with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene around 1:19 a.m.
