More than $26,500 had been raised as of Monday evening on a GoFundMe launched to help the Don Bosco graduate and Ringwood native get his arm.

He explains that the Jaco would help him do "the simple things," he said, like "pull my blanket to the right spot, hold something, move something, pick something up... endless possibilities."

Mazzola took to GoFundMe in 2013 to buy himself a new wheelchair.
