Woman, 25, Shot Dead In Millville: Prosecutor A 25-year-old Vineland woman was shot and killed, authorities said. In the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, Shanelle Stewart of Vineland was found dead inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of Wheaton Avenue, Millville having succumbed to her injuries, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Alex Blocker, 34, of Bridgeton, was arrested by members of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and Millville Police Department. Motorcyclist Killed In South Jersey Crash: Report A 30-year-old motorcyclist from Vineland was killed in a crash with another vehicle, NJ Advance Media reported. Kani Francis was riding his motorcycle south on Wheaton Avenue in Millville around 10:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, when he struck a car traveling east on Ladow Avenue, the outlet said, quoting Millville Police. 2 Men Found Dead In South Jersey Garage With Running Car: Report Two men were found dead in a garage with the car running in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reports. The bodies of the 18- and- 50-year-old men were found by a Millville resident coming home from work inside of the garage at a home on the 2000 block of Wheaton Avenue (Route 555) around 2:45 a.m., the outlet said citing local police. The incident appears to be accidental, the outlet said, citing a Millville police spokesman. Police did not say if the men were residents of the home or if they died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
