Driver Wanted In Hit-And-Run Crash That Killed Pedestrian In South Jersey Police in Absecon are looking for whoever killed a pedestrian and left the scene of a crash, authorities said. The pedestrian died in the hit-and-run crash just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, Absecon police said in a news release. It happened on Route 30 West, just east of Turner Avenue and near the Executive Lodge motel. Investigators said the driver did not stop and left the victim without any help. South Jersey Woman Charged With Leaving Scene Of Fatal Pedestrian Crash, Second Driver Sought A Camden County woman has been charged in connection with a motor vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Lindenwold, authorities said. Raquel M. Syvertson, 52, of Atco, was charged on Wednesday, Dec. 21,  with knowingly leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P.
