South Jersey Woman, 48, Charged With Setting Row Home Fire: Police
A 48-year-old woman from Pleasantville has been charged with setting a massive fire in Atlantic City, authorities said. The three-alarm blaze displaced multiple residents, they said. On Wednesday, June 21, at 1:01 p.m., police officers, firefighters, and medical personnel responded to a structure fire in the 1500 block of Belfield Avenue. The structure is a series of row homes that contain multiple units. The building was occupied at the time of the fire, and as many as 10 residents were rescued by first responders, police said. The man found moaning and dangling from a power line tower in Pennsylvania Friday, Nov. 4 was trying to steal wire when he suffered an electric shock so powerful that it threw him from his perch, authorities told various news outlets.
