Atlantic City Man Arrested In Race-Motivated Stabbing: Police Atlantic City police arrested a 38-year-old man for attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a man in an unprovoked attack. On Monday, July 3, at 6:16 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of Adriatic Avenue in reference to a man stabbed. Fugitive Wanted In Shooting Nabbed In Atlantic City A 19-year-old man wanted in a July shooting was arrested in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Wednesday, Sept. 14, Atlantic City Police Officer Latray Butcher was working a fixed traffic post at the intersection of Texas and Atlantic Avenues when he observed Wesley Briscoe walking eastbound on Atlantic Avenue.  Butcher recognized Briscoe as a man that was wanted for a July shooting and broadcasted Briscoe’s direction to responding units via police radio. Atlantic City Man, 25, Arrested In Ex-Girlfriend's Stabbing A 25-year-old man from Atlantic City has been arrested in connection with a near fatal attack on his ex-girlfriend, authorities said. The man was arrested late Friday after breaking into a residence and stabbing the woman as well as a man inside, Atlantic City police said. At 11:02 pm, patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Virginia Avenue for a report of multiple people stabbed. Officers arrived to find a man and woman stabbed and the suspect fleeing the residence, said Lt. Kevin Fair, a police department spokesman.
