South Jersey Man Sentenced In Fatal Home Invasion Robbery A 27-year-old man from South Jersey was sentenced to 54 years in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a fatal home invasion robbery, authorities said. Oshshakkur Derrick, of Somers Point, was sentenced for murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and other offenses, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. The conviction and sentence stem from a Nov. 22, 2020 home invasion on the 100 block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Atlantic City.
