South Jersey Men Admit To Assaulting Juvenile Corrections Officers: Prosecutors Two Atlantic County men admitted to assaulting two juvenile corrections officers, authorities said. Bilal Rex, 20, of Atlantic City, and Samir Abdullah, 21, of Galloway, pleaded guilty on Thursday, May 16 to third-degree aggravated assault on a corrections employee. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced their guilty pleas in a news release. Youth Detention Worker Smuggled Cellphones, Pot Vape Pens Into South Jersey Center: Prosecutor A 30-year-old youth detention center worker has been indicted for smuggling items including cellphones and marijuana vape pens into a detention facility in South Jersey, authorities said. Marc J. Snead, of Vineland, was indicted for official misconduct on Wednesday, Nov. 8, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. He is accused of bringing contraband items into the Harborfields Youth Detention Center in Egg Harbor City where Snead was employed as a Youth Services Worker.
