Reign Of Terror: NJ Ex-Con Gets 16 Years For Series Of Armed Robberies, Carjackings
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 25-year-old ex-con from Trenton who’s already served 2½ years in state prison is headed to federal prison for 16 more for a string of gunpoint carjackings and robberies. Joshua M. Perez was one of three armed robbers who commited a Oct. 10 carjacking, another on Dec. 5 and the robbery later than second night of a local gas station, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Atlantic City Cracks Down On ATVs, Dirt Bikes At Gas Pumps: Report
ATVs and dirt bikes are no longer allowed to fill up their tanks at the gas pumps in Atlantic City, NJ Advance Media reported. City officials passed a new law, by a 7-2 vote for the new restriction which follows an earlier ban on all local roads. Now, ATVs and dirt bikes must be in a trailer or the back of a truck to have their gas tanks filled up, the outlet said. Atlantic City gas station owners and workers can be fined at least $500 for violating the ordinance. UPDATE: A trio of New York City police officers helped capture a 23-year-old Mahwah man who authorities said fled after shooting his roommate dead Monday night. Milan Ghimire was nabbed in the Bronx by members of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit after killing 56-year-old Phu Tsewang, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Tuesday.
