South Jersey Men Sentenced In Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor
A 35-year-old man from Seabrook was sentenced to 48 years in New Jersey State Prison for his role in a fatal shooting, authorities said.
Cleve W. Lewis was convicted of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, burglary and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
A 44-year-old co-defendant, Gregrey A. Coombs of Seabrook was sentenced to 30 years in state prison for conspiracy to commit murder, she said.
A third defendant is awaiting sentencing in the murder case.

Three men were arrested after Atlantic City detectives observed them engaged in a drug deal, authorities said.
On Thursday Aug. 17, at 3:48 p.m., Detectives Eric Evans and Christopher Dodson were conducting surveillance in the area of the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenues.
They saw two men, Daryus Gandy and Bashon Simon Sr., working together to sell drugs, police said. The detectives approached the men as they began to engage in a transaction with John Adams. UPDATE: A member of a New Jersey-based armed robbery crew copped to holding up five liquor and convenience stores in two states, federal authorities said.
Jaime Fontanez, 45, of Elizabeth and two accomplices went on a six-month armed robbery spree beginning in August 2018, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Two Passaic men were convicted of murder, among other charges, for the drive-by shooting death of a 23-year-old city resident after a previous attempt at prosecuting them was derailed by COVID.

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for 26 robberies and burglaries across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, according to police.
Francisco Cartagena, 45, of Collingdale, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, has been charged in connection with these robberies following a months long investigation and a warranted search of his home, according to a special release by the Manheim Township police.
