Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a 2008 robbery and fatal beating, authorities said. Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced the cold case arrests on Monday, April 22 in connection with the death of Leroy Julious of Ewing Township. A 45-year-old man from Trenton was found fatally wounded on a porch, authorities said. No arrests had been made, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed on a Trenton sidewalk Friday morning, Nov. 24. It happened on the first block of Oliver Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead. A 40-year-old Trenton man was stabbed dead Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Corey Jones was rushed to the hospital around 9 p.m. after being found unresponsive with a stab wound on Cross Street and Kersey Alley, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Trenton Man Dies Of Wounds From Weekend Shooting: Prosecutor
A victim from a weekend shooting in Trenton has died of his injuries, authorities said. Taquan Foxworth, 29, of Trenton was shot on Saturday, Aug. 19, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. He died on Monday, Aug. 21, the office said. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating. Police received a ShotSpotter activation for the area of 763 Stuyvesant Avenue for 13 rounds of gunfire. A landlord found a decomposed body inside a garbage bag at a Trenton home during the afternoon on Friday, Dec. 23, authorities said.
