Search Continues For Missing Kayaker In Raritan Bay The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing kayaker in Raritan Bay off Keyport. Zhenjing Ding is 74 years old. He is 5’6” tall and weighs 140 to 160 pounds. Coast Guard Sector New York command center watchstanders received a report Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. from Keyport police that Ding’s kayak was found. It was near Cedar Street Park in Keyport Harbor along with personal belongings, and no sight of him in the area. Coast Guard: One Dead After Boat Capsizes On Raritan Bay One person died after a boat capsized on the Raritan Bay Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard said. A good Samaritan pulled the victim's body from the water after the boat overturned near Keyport around 10 a.m., and immediately began CPR, reports say. There were no other occupants on the 21-foot boat. A Coast Guard Station Sandy Hook 29-foot response boat crew arrived on scene within 10 minutes.  The victim was transferred to the Coast Guard crew, who continued CPR while en route to Monmouth Cove Marina.
