Manchester Township police responded to a structure fire on Riverside Drive at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, the department said in a news release. Janet Conroy died in the fire at her home at 1 Miles Pond Road in Berkeley Township on Thursday, July 20, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The fire was reported at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on Hands Mills Road in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County, according to New Jersey State Police.
