HAWORTH, N.J. -- Laura A. Bertinelli, of Haworth, died on Wednesday, Feb. 8. She was 102.
Bertinelli was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Haworth and was a member of its sewing group. She also belonged to the Haworth, Closter and Northvale senior centers.
She is survived by her children, John and his wife Lisa of Old Tappan, Joan Tobey of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Mary Ann Lindner and her husband Walter of Montgomery, New York; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Gladys W. (Meyer) Mason -- a Maywood resident, formerly of Rochelle Park -- died on Monday, Feb. 6. She was 88.

Robert H. Martin, 79, Closter Resident
CLOSTER, N.J. -- Robert H. Martin, of Closter, died on Monday, Jan 30. He was 79.
Martin served in in the Marine Corps from 1956-1959, and he was an aircraft mechanic for Pan American and Delta Airlines.

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Jean Drobinski, of Wyckoff, died on Saturday, Jan. 21. She was 97.
Born in Bayonne, Drobinski lived in Waldwick and South Jersey before moving to Wyckoff in 1989.

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Helen "Eleanor" (Cavaliero) Maddalena, of Elmwood Park, died on Monday, Feb. 6. She was 95.
Born in New York, Maddalena lived most of her life in Lodi and Elmwood Park. Before she retired, she worked for Onyx Cleaners, in Lodi, for over 30 years.
She was a member of St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church, AARP and Lodi Senior Citizens.

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Joseph "Len" Giardelli, of Paramus, died Feb 8. He was 91.
Before retiring, Giardelli was as a photographer for the Bergen Record, in Hackensack.
He had served in the South Pacific and China during World War II with the 3rd Marines, and he was a Purple Heart recipient. He was also a member of VFW Post 6699, in Paramus.

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- John "Jack" Harold Logan, of Loveladies, died on Feb 5. He was 90.

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Giambattista "John" Buldo, of South Hackensack, died on Monday, Feb. 6. He was 85.
Born in Pescopagano, Italy, Buldo lived there for 26 years, before going to Argentina for 20 years and then immigrating to the United States in 1977. He lived in Ridgefield for 21 years and South Hackensack for the past 18 years.
He was a veteran of the Italian Army, and he was a mason. He owned John Buldo and Sons, in Ridgefield, for 40 years, retiring in 1996.
