A New Jersey woman was killed and two others injured after it crashed in a residential area of Long Island. Roma Gupta, 63, of Whitehouse Station in Hunterdon County, died, while her daughter, Reeva Gupta, 33, of Delaware County, PA, remains in critical condition following the crash in North Lindenhurst Sunday, March 5. NJ Coast Guardsman ID'd As Victim Critical In 9-Story Fall From Hotel Balcony
A man who suffered serious injuries after falling from a hotel balcony on Long Island earlier this week has been identified as a US Coast Guardsman. Alexander “AJ” Keating, 24, who has been living in South Amboy, was on a ninth-floor balcony at around 12:45 a.m. when he fell over a railing at the Hyatt Regency Long Island, Suffolk County police said. A group of adult shoplifters from Newark were captured after snatching $90,000 worth of pricey purses from a Balenciaga store in the Hamptons, authorities said. U.S. Marshals captured two Long Island fugitives charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a Jersey Shore man. Ademola Bostick, 24, of Bay Shore, and Rajah Mayo, 20, of Freeport, had driven to the shore intending to kill 23-year-old Charles Sortino, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
