HVAC Replacement Project Begins At Atlantic City's Main Library Work has begun to replace the HVAC system at Atlantic City's main library, officials said. The Atlantic City Free Public Library said construction started at the main library on North Tennessee Avenue on Monday, Mar. 11. The HVAC replacement is expected to take about two months to complete. The library, which opened in 1985, said it will try to stay open as much as possible during the project. At 8:48 a.m., Tuesday, April 4, Atlantic City Police Officers Moustafa Maarouf and James Eckert were called to a convenience store in the 400 block of north Tennessee Avenue for a stabbing.  Police were flagged down by several witnesses reporting there was a disturbance inside the store.  Police entered the store and saw a suspect, Jason Hill, being held down by two store employees, they said. Fatal Atlantic City Shooting Victim Identified The 28-year-old man who was shot and killed in Atlantic City early Wednesday has been identified, authorities said. The man was found with a single gunshot wound about 8 a.m. on the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said.
