4 Injured In NJ Transit Bus Crash
A bus driver and three passengers were injured when a New Jersey Transit bus was rear-ended in Trenton, authorities said. At 11:21 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, the #601 bus was traveling on Mulberry Street and was slowing down to stop at the railroad crossing next to Route 1 when a vehicle rear-ended the bus, Trenton police said. The four crash victims were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center all for reported back pain, police said. Two people died and dozens of others were injured when a Pennsylvania-bound bus crashed off I-84 in New York, authorities said. Authorities have identified the two people killed in the double-decker Megabus overturn on the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, Aug. 9, authorities said. Cheryl Johnson, 59, of Bronx, N.Y., was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cecilia Kiyanitza, 66, of Woodbury, N.J. was airlifted to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead. 13 Hurt In NJ Transit Bus Crash In Absecon
At least a dozen people were injured in an NJ Transit bus crash with a car Thursday, June 16 in Atlantic County, Fox29 reports. The car was flattened when it was struck by the bus at South Shore Road and Ohio Avenue in Absecon around 5:30 p.m. on in Absecon, the outlet said. The bus was going from Atlantic City to Lindenwold. More than 10,000 home owners and businesses in Lakewood were reported to be without electricity about 6:30 p.m., authorities said.
