Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Human Remains Found Behind Lowe's Store In East Garden City An investigation is underway after human remains were found behind a Long Island Lowe's store. Months-Long Closure Of Roadway In Ossining Starts A months-long closure of a roadway in the region is now underway. The New York State Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling in Northern Westchester County that Illington Road will be closed at the Taconic State Parkway in the Village of Ossining. The DOT said the closure, from Monday, July 29, through Monday, Nov. 18, is to facilitate a bridge rehabilitation project, weather permitting. Motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate. The roadway closure is necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of key bridges in the Hudson Valley.
