Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Maryland convenience store owner earlier this month.
Anthony Edward Stevens, 48, of Capitol Heights, was charged with first- and second-degree murder, Prince George’s Police announced Friday, March 22.

Zarkee Bembo-Wilson, 23, of Capitol Heights, was charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as other offenses, Prince George’s County Police said Wednesday, March 13.
Bembo-Wilson is accused of shooting Airmus Dillard, 41, of Capitol Heights, as the two were arguing near the 300 block of Cedarleaf Avenue on Tuesday night, March 5.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers prevented two travelers from carrying loaded guns onto their flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport over the weekend, officials said.
A Maryland man's .32 caliber gun was discovered in his carry-on bag at a security checkpoint on Saturday, Nov. 12, TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein said. It was loaded with six bullets.

A Capitol Heights man has been arrested after being accused of the murder of a 22-year-old Washington, DC man authorities announce.
Randy McFail, 32, allegedly shot Robert Earl Price, 22, killing him in the 4100 block of Southern Avenue around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, according to Prince George's County police.
Officers arrived to the scene that August evening to find Price suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. Price was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 5-year-old girl was beaten to death by her dad and stepmother in Capitol Heights, authorities said.
Pradel Delinois, 44, and Ornelie Charles, 42, are accused of causing the blunt force trauma that killed 5-year-old Pradeline Delinois on Thursday, Aug. 18 in the 5100 block of Cumberland Street, according to Prince George’s County Police.
Police responded to the scene after reports of an unresponsive child, rushing the victim to a hospital shortly after arrival. Pradeline Delinois was pronounced dead a short time later.
