Police say that a teenager implicated in a shooting near a Maryland high school football game will be tried as an adult for the attempted murder of a 12-year-old boy. On Friday, Sept. 1, officers from the Baltimore Police Department heard gunshots ring out in the 1100 block of Wilmot Court, not far from the Dunbar High School football field, according to officials. An investigation has been launched in Baltimore after police were called to a grisly scene overnight. Officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Friday night to the intersection of Ramsay Street and South Gilmore Street to assist the city fire department, officials say. One person was killed, and a second injured in a Baltimore crash on Thursday afternoon, police confirmed. Shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 5800 block of Belair Road, where there was a multi-car crash. Police say that one of the drivers, a 60-year-old woman whose ID has not been released, suffered life-threatening injuries and later died after being rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a late September shooting in Baltimore, police say. City resident Jamel McClurkin has been arrested for his alleged role in the early morning Sept. 23 shooting of Davon Jones, 36, in the 400 block of North Curley Street.
