Nearly $40,000 has been raised to support Murat Fresolone after he was airlifted from an Airbnb in Ocean City after the horrible accident on Sunday, Sept. 4, according to the GoFundMe.
Fresolone was transported to the Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore where doctors determined that the Pennsylvania man was paralyzed from the chest down.
Fresolone was rushed into emergency surgery where he had to undergo two extensive procedures, including placing metal rods in his neck to stabilize his head.
The Pennsylvania man has begun a lengthy recovery process in the ICU where he remains paralyzed. In just one day, $38,000 was raised for Fresolone to help support medical bills after the horrific accident.
