$4M Richer: Scratch-Off Sold In Elmer Wins Enormous Prize
A scratch-off lottery ticket worth $4 million was purchased at a convenience store in Salem County, officials said. The 200X Cash Blitz scratch-off was sold at the Sunoco Food Mart on Chestnut Street in Elmer, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Monday, Oct. 28. Each ticket costs $30 and the $4 million prize is the game's largest. The winner was bought at the gas station near Elmer Lake on Saturday, Oct. 26. Driver Dies, Two Injured In Fiery Garden State Parkway Crash In Tinton Falls: Troopers
A driver was killed and two others were hospitalized in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, authorities said. Troopers responded to the southbound side of the parkway at around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, a state police spokesperson said. Investigators said a Honda Accord and Honda Civic crashed head-on near milepost 102.8. A Volkswagen Jetta hit the back of the Civic, causing the Honda to catch fire. Galloway Man Who Sold Drugs With Teen In Atlantic City Convenience Store Sentenced: Prosecutors
A Galloway Township man will spend at least three years in prison for several crimes including selling crack cocaine with a teen, authorities said. Halim Fisher, 26, was sentenced on Monday, Oct. 28 to six years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A Brick Township man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle at an intersection, authorities said. Horace Giambona, 64, died in the crash on Wednesday, Oct. 23, the Brick Township Police Department said in a news release. A Riverton man will spend up to two decades in prison for stabbing a man to death at a Mount Laurel motel, authorities said.
