A Maryland man allegedly found a way to turn other people's bank accounts into his own personal ATM.
Roy Dave Davis, 34, of Hyattsville, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 21, following a years-long scheme that federal prosecutors say cost more than 40 victims over $1 million, federal authorities say.
Many were seniors. Their average age was 81.
The alleged operation started with personal information belonging to customers of a financial institution, according to court documents.

Thirty years have passed since Anne Carolyn McDaniel was killed in Virginia. Her parents died without ever learning who did it.
Now, three decades after the 20-year-old's body was found along Stringfellow Road in the Lignum area of Culpeper County, investigators are taking another shot at solving the mystery.
McDaniel, who lived in Orange and had friends in Culpeper County, was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996.
