All 3 ID'd After Double Murder, Arson Ends With Suspect Dead In PA
All three people found dead after two were beaten and a Dauphin County home was intentionally set ablaze have now been identified, officials announced on Friday, Aug. 28.
Dean Edward Johnson, 55, and Renee Millette Johnson, 59, were both homicide victims, while Anthony James Kinsey Jr., 34, died in the fire, Dauphin County Chief Deputy Coroner Vince Paese told Daily Voice.
All three were Middletown residents, according to their obituaries.

2 Kids Struck By Toyota In Bergen County, 12-Year-Old Critically Injured: Police
Two 12-year-old children were struck by a Toyota in New Milford, leaving one with a serious head injury in critical condition, authorities said.
The crash happened on Reichelt Road at approximately 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, New Milford Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
One child was riding a scooter and wearing a helmet when the crash occurred, Clancy said. The child suffered a serious head injury and was in critical condition.

Masked Man With Gun, Machete Confronts Driver In Clifton: Police
A masked man armed with a handgun and machete was arrested after pointing the gun at a driver in Clifton, authorities said.
Eddy Calixto, 47, of Clifton, approached an occupied vehicle near Knapp Avenue and Schoonmaker Place at approximately 2:47 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Anderson said.
Wearing black clothing and a black ski mask, Calixto knocked on the vehicle's window and pointed a handgun at the person inside, according to a 911 caller, Anderson said.
