A woman was killed Friday afternoon when a car crashed into a home in Prince George's County, police said. Officers responded to the 7300 block of Allentown Road around 1 p.m. in Fort Washington to investigate a single-vehicle collision that left a woman inside the vehicle with critical injuries. Nearly a million dollars in damage was caused when a butcher shop fire spread to a home of a vacant home that has stood for more than a century in Maryland, officials say. First responders were called shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, to the 5000 block of Stone Boundary Road in Cambridge, where the owner of a butcher shop reported a fire that rapidly spread to nearby structures. A driver suffered critical injuries after driving through a Prince George's County home late on Tuesday afternoon. First responders were called shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 6 to the 3100 block of Church Street in Glenarden, where there was a possible collapse reported when a minivan smashed into an area home. Upon arrival, members of the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department found a vehicle inside a single-family home with the driver trapped inside.
