Mamta Bhatt's Husband Charged With Concealing Body, Arrested, Manassas Park Police Say
Charges have been filed against Naresh Bhatt in his wife's disappearance, police announced. On Thursday afternoon, Aug. 22, Manassas Park police announced that Naresh Bhatt was charged with prohibition against concealment of dead body after a search warrant was executed at the home he shared with Mamta Kafle Bhatt. The 28-year-old mother went missing late last month, and her husband was the last person to have spoken to her, police said. A 10-year-old boy was killed in Maryland while inside a home with his mother and other young children on Monday night, state police say. The search is on for a suspect as troopers continue to attempt locating a wanted shooting suspect who killed the boy in Salisbury on Aug. 5. Maryland State Police Arrest Two Men On Child Porn Charges
Two child pornography suspects were taken into custody following a pair of separate investigations into the distribution and possession of illicit materials, state police announced. Cumberland residents Matthew Loren Sites, 23, and Roger Clayton Abe II, 38, were both arrested as a result of separate investigations conducted by the Maryland State Police / Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, officials announced on Friday, July 8.
