Dozens of Party City locations in the DMV region are among the hundreds set to be closed as the company announced it is going out of business. Both Maryland and Virginia were hit hard by the reported closure, which will impact approximately 800 stores across the country. A 47-year-old Maryland man is accused of sending sexually-explicit messages to a minor earlier this year in Prince William County, authorities said. 250-Pound Man Wanted For Raping VA Girl He Met Online: Police
A 26-year-old Maryland man is being sought for raping a girl he met on social media, authorities in Virginia said. Dimas Alexis Lazo, of College Park, met the girl on a social media app and arranged to meet at a home in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said. Lazo was found sexually assaulting the girl inside of the home by a family member who intervened on Nov. 26, 2023, around 12:30 a.m., county police said.
