Marylanders Scramble To Find Covid-19 Test Kits Amid Virus Surge Baltimore's health department and libraries joined forces on Dec. 21 to hand out almost 5,000 free at-home COVID-19 test kits within minutes as residents scramble to find them, according to CBS Baltimore. For weeks there have been long lines at Coronavirus test sites in Maryland with many reports of people being unable to find rapid tests or being turned away at testing sites.
