North Beach resident Richard Evan Ganyon, Jr. has been identified by the sheriff's office as the person whose body was found following a crash in Owings. Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Office were called shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday night to the 3700 block of Chaneyville Road in Owings to investigate a motorcycle crash.
