Kendrid Khalil Hamlin, 26, was sentenced to 27 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release after he attacked Minnesota Rep. Police say that a homeless man is in custody after assaulting a Congresswoman in the elevator of her Washington, DC apartment building on Thursday.
