The hit-and-run driver who attempted to flee from a Charles County mall after striking a vehicle and ping-ponging off police vehicles wasn't quick enough to avoid members of the sheriff's office, according to officials. Silver Spring Man Charged Months After Crash That Killed Beloved Grandmother: Police
A Silver Spring man has been arrested in a Kensington crash that killed a 72-year-old grandmother last November, authorities said. Gustavo Santos Campos, 42, was charged in the crash that left Michaele Anne Belford dead on Nov. 16, 2021, Montgomery County Police said.
