Victim Falls Off Bridge, Dies In I-395/I-95 Crash In Baltimore: Report A person involved in a car crash fell off a bridge and died along Interstate 95 at Interstate 395 Sunday night, Aug. 13 in Baltimore, CBS News reports. The person was getting out of their car after one crash when another crash happened, and they were thrown off the bridge into the water around 10:25 p.m., the outlet said. Their body was subsequently recovered from the water. A heavy police response was being reported and the highway was closed. Click here for more from CBS News.

A medivac pilot proved that on Wednesday, July 6, after they landed a helicopter on Interstate 395 to rescue a police officer.  Park police requested the helicopter to rescue a motorcycle officer who'd crashed on Maine Avenue, WJLA said. A US Park Police pilot had no choice but to land on I-395 around 6:30 p.m. to whisk the officer away to a nearby hospital for treatment.  The impromptu landing caused a traffic back up and cars stopped on the other side of the interstate to watch this rare sight.
