Here's How To Get $900 Per Month In Government Funding New and expectant mothers in Washington DC will soon be getting financial assistance from the government to the tune of $900 a month. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the new direct cash assistance program on Jan. 13, saying the District will provide a $1.5 million grant for the pilot program, Strong Families, Strong Future DC.
