It happened at the store on the 7500 block of Georgetown Road in Bethesda around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, Montgomery County Police said. The suspect — described as a man in his 20s or 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing about 150 pounds — entered the business, approached the employee behind the counter and implied that he had a handgun in his waistband, according to police. Rachel Cox, 16, died suddenly on Jan. 15  at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital, according to her obituary. A cause of death was not released.
