A South Jersey man who graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work in TV journalism in Pennsylvania and Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced.
Cleve W. Bryan Jr. was charged Wednesday, Oct. 18 by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said.
Byran, of the Sewell section of Washington, was taken to the Salem County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

A Virginia man who was found naked and covered in blood after dragging his victim’s dead body out of his own Washington, DC apartment in 2019 will spend years behind bars, authorities announced.
Collin Potter, 30, of Quantico, pleaded guilty in February to second-degree murder while armed for the butchering of Vongell Lugo on Jan. 6, 2019, in which Potter stabbed his victim 42 times, federal officials said.
This week, he was sentenced by a judge to 16 years in prison for the fatal stabbing.

A community is in mourning after a popular teen was killed overnight in a one-car crash in Montgomery County.
Germantown resident Samuel Isaac Castañeda, 19, crashed shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, while he was driving on Clopper Road between Waring Station Road and Game Preserve Road, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
For unknown reason, officials say that Castañeda was driving a Honda CR-V north on Clipper Road when he lost control, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole.
Castañeda, the only person in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. …
UMD Student To Compete On 'Jeopardy! High School Reunion Tournament'
A University of Maryland student is among dozens of "Jeopardy!" competitors returning as college students.
Dan Oxman, a senior Terp studying chemical engineering, will compete on the March 1 round of the "Jeopardy! High School Reunion Tournament," on ABC.
Hosted by Mayim Bialik, the tournament premiered Monday, Feb. 20 and features contestants who were on the "Teen Tournament."
Oxman, a South Orange, NJ, native, won $5,000 in the quarterfinals of the 2018 "Teen Tournament."
