A volunteer firefighter serving in Maryland and Pennsylvania for over 40 years has died "unexpectedly", a GoFundMe launched to help launch his family announced on Saturday, Sept. 7. Chief Tracy L. Tomlinson, 57, of Kirkwood, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 5, according to his obituary posted on Shivery Funeral Home, Inc.'s website. A former Ironman Maryland All-Around winner and popular Pennsylvania high school teacher was killed in a bicycle crash in York County, friends and officials announced on Monday, July 29. Joseph "Joe" Klinedinst, 48 of York, died at the scene of a crash at the intersection of Mt Pisgah and Ducktown roads in Hellam Township at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, according to the coroner's release and later identified by family friends and a county commissioner.
