The Montgomery County Police sergeant who was run down by a reckless driver well known to the department has lost the use of both of his legs. Sgt. Patrick Kepp is hospitalized in critical condition on Wednesday afternoon after 19-year-old Frederick Rafael Mayorga took police on a wild ride and intentionally struck him in a green Dodge Charger while speeding on I-270, something he is known to do, according to Police Chief Marcus Jones. Montgomery County Distributes 50,000 Loaner Computers To Residents After $22.6M Grant
Montgomery County will provide 50,000 loaner computers to low-income and senior County residents after receiving more than $22.6 million in Digital Equity Grants, officials announce. Four "Streeteries" in Montgomery County are being reevaluated for fall as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ease, officials say.
