EMS Urges Public To Avoid Area After 'Incident' In Cumberland County An unknown incident has closed a road in Cumberland County, officials announced on Monday, Nov. 4. EMS were called to the "incident" on Spring Road, near the intersections of Wertz Run Road, West Middlesex Road, and Faith Circle, officials announced around 11 a.m. For the safety of personnel working on or near the roadway, the public is asked to avoid the area. Fatal Fentanyl Overdose Lands Woman Felony Charges: Lower Paxton Police A Harrisburg woman has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death after police say she provided fentanyl that led to a fatal overdose in Lower Paxton Township. Erica Lynn Coble, 44, was taken into custody by Lower Paxton police on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, and is facing multiple felony charges related to the case. 1 Hospitalized After Hanover Rowhome Fire One person was hospitalized after an early morning fire tore through a rowhome attic in Hanover Borough on Monday, Nov. 4, officials said. The fire broke out in the first block of South Penn Street, near Stock Street. Hanover Area Fire & Rescue crews arrived to find flames pouring from the attic, dispatchers said. Next Of Kin Sought For Man Found Dead At PA Home: Coroner An elderly North Whitehall man was found dead in his home, leaving authorities searching for any trace of his family. William H. Chapin, 87, was found dead at his North Whitehall Township home on Friday, Oct. 18, at 1:17 p.m., the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Nov. 4. Dad With Baby On The Way Killed In York County Crash, Fund Says A community is rallying after a 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, according to the Springettsbury Township Police.
