Two Injured In Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer In Region, Police Say Two people suffered injuries in a crash in Connecticut that involved a tractor-trailer. The South Killingly Fire Department in Windham County reported that crews responded to the crash at 580 Providence Pike (Route 6) at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23. The two people who were injured in the crash were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. No further details about the crash were provided.

Flaming Tractor-trailer Causes Traffic On 495 A trash tractor-trailer has caught on fire and is causing a traffic jam on Route 495. At around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, Berlin Police responded to a report of a truck accident on 495 North, between exits 26 and 27. Bolton Fire and Emergency Services have responded as well as Berlin firefighter. Police are asking people to seek alternate routes “as this will greatly affect the morning commute,” police said.

Man Killed In Bristol County Crash, Massachusetts State Police Says A Connecticut man was killed in a two-vehicle Massachusetts crash. The crash happened in Bristol County at around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 in Raynham, Massachusetts State Police said in a statement. Fairfield County resident Mariusz Laszcak, 53, of Wilton, was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle when he collided with a 2016 International truck, state police said. Laszcak died at the scene, according to police. The 32-year-old  truck driver, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was not injured.
