19 Shopping: Website Locates Hard To Find Items Near You
As stores sell out of staple items - such as toilet paper and hand soap - ahead of what could be another isolating COVID-19 winter, there’s a website that helps people locate difficult to find items in their areas. It’s called InStok. The website and accompanying app were recently developed by two University of Texas students who saw their parents struggle to find hand sanitizer and other popular items in March. 19: Shoppers Stockpiling Toilet Paper, Hand Sanitizer For Winter
As Massachusetts reaches 150,000 COVID-19 incidents, a new study says that people are beginning to restock their pandemic supplies. This includes toilet paper and hand sanitizer, which are still widely available. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, retail data analyst Inmar Intelligence said that 57 percent of shoppers are considering replenishing their stockpile of goods originally created at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
