One Injured In Rollover Wreck In West Springfield That Caused Rush-Hour Delay: Police One person was injured in a crash during Monday morning rush hour, April 10, in West Springfield, authorities said.  The wreck happened on Route 20 near Charles Ave. around 8 a.m. Police closed a lane on Route 20 and detoured traffic down Sibley Ave. for about an hour as firefighters and officers cleared the scene, West Springfield police said.  Paramedics took one person to the hospital with minor injuries. Officials didn't release any information about the injured person or the cause of the crash.

IDs Released For Duo Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Route 20 In Charlton Authorities have identified the two people killed in a wrong-way crash on a major route in Central Massachusetts as Susan Celauro, age 63, of East Norwich, NY and Alexander Owanisian, 35, of Southbridge, MA.  State Troopers responded to the three-vehicle crash on Route 20 at Carroll Hill Road in Charlton just before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, Massachusetts State Police report. On Thursday, Oct. 15, the Wonder Bar opened a second, similar location on Route 20 in Shrewsbury. The Wonder Bar Pizza & Subs Express, 6 Hartford Turnpike, opened from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on its first day and has plans to expand hours. The eatery is offering dine-in and take-out options. The Wonder Bar was founded in Worcester in the 1920s. It’s well known for its pizzas and recognizable signage.

Announced a year ago, the plan to get Massachusetts’ highways in-line with the federal exit numbering strategy - a “milepost-based system” - will soon be visible to motorists, WCVB reports. Traffic Update: Gas Leak Closes Part of Route 146 In Millbury For At Least Another Hour Traffic has come to a halt after a gas main was struck this morning, July 27, by contractors working near Route 146, Exit 10 onto Route 20, and the Mass Pike. The Fire Department is on scene mitigating the leak. Northbound travel lanes on Route 146 are closed and traffic is being diverted to Exit 9. Firefighters estimate that the leak won't be under control for at least another hour. Traffic is backed up for miles.  The story will be updated as more information becomes available.
