Shooting Victims ID'd: Man Killed In Springfield Allegedly Survived Gunshot In 2013 Authorities have named the man who was killed in Springfield early Sunday morning, June 11, and he appears to be the same person who survived a gunshot in the same city in 2013.  Jaton Pearson, 29, of Springfield, was identified as the victim of a shooting on Orange Street at 2:30 a.m., the Hampden County District Attorney said. Man Shot To Death In Springfield; Police Asking For Tips On Weekend Slaying Police in Hampden County are soliciting tips from the public after a man was shot and killed over the weekend in Springfield.  Officers received a ShotSpotter alert in the 300 block of Orange Street around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Springfield police said in a tweet.
