Western Mass Man Gets 9-10 Years For Girlfriend's 2014 KIlling: DA Frederick Pinney, the Springfield man whose case has been tied up in legal limbo for nearly a decade, found out his fate on Friday, March 10: nine to 10 years behind bars.  A jury convicted Pinney of manslaughter on Monday.
